Ice T is the original embodiment of LA Hip-Hop. Through his music, his book, “The Ice Opinion”, and his lecture tours of America’s prisons, high schools and colleges, speaking to thousands of students at over one hundred educational institutions (including Harvard, Berkley, Princeton, Stanford, and Northwestern), he has become an influential spokesman for America’s youth, regardless of color. Some of Ice T’s recent lecture subjects have included Overcoming Adversity, Empowerment, The Dangers of Drugs and the Importance of Education. His lectures are always honest, profound, entertaining and his appeal transcends gender, race and age. Since 2000, he has portrayed NYPD detective Odafin Tutuola on the NBC police drama, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
