Jeremy Schaap

Jeremy Schapp has been an ESPN reporter since 1996. Schapp is a correspondent for E:60 as well as other hit ESPN programs: SportsCenter and Outside the Line(OTL). Over his career, Schapp has won six Sports Emmy Awards along with numerous other accolades.  He is known for contentious interview with Bob Knight back in 2000, and his one-on-one interview with Darryl Strawberry held back in 1998 immediately after Strawberry revealed he had colon cancer.

Throughout his career Schaap has had the opportunity to cover virtually every sport: MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, golf, horse racing, boxing, college sports, Olympic events, and the FIFA World Cup. His long career and coverage diversification have made Schaap one of the leading sports reporters today. His programs feature true behind the scenes stories about the athletes he has had the opportunity to interview all while focusing on the importance of the underdog performing under pressure.
